VDOScope is a comprehensive video management platform designed to collect, transmit, route, share, display and manage video and communication systems in the security, surveillance, and transportation markets.

The key to VDOScope’s flexibility is multi-stage video switching which can interconnect IP and T1 networks. VDOScope’s support for IP networking includes support for IP multicast video streams.

VDOScope seamlessly masks network complexity through the use of a user-friendly point-and-click Java-based GUI. VDOScope's dual monitor support with multi-screen grid, lets operators monitor an event by simply clicking on the camera on the environment map and dropping it onto the multi-panel video grid. Users can also select single monitors, displays, and field equipment for video display.

VDOScope® NVR Module

Cornet Technology’s Network Video Recorder’s (NVR) module is an extension of Cornet Technology’s VDOScope® video management architecture. An optional module, it supports an enormous number and variety of IP video feeds from multiple locations records them and serves them to a variety of users.   NVR Recording Servers can be located remotely, where the video feeds originate, or centrally at the Command Center. The distributed architecture also lets each Recording NVR Server be sized appropriately.  With this module, operators can be located anywhere along the network as well as at the central Command Center location.

VDOScope® ASSM

The VDOScope® Advanced Streamer Server module (ASSM) is distinctive in its flexibility. It is capable of separately or simultaneously serving as a web distribution point, a video re-distribution server, or as a transcoding engine.  Since it is tightly coupled with Cornet Technology’s VDOScope video management architecture, you can locate the module where needed. The VDOScope ASSM converts received video streams from MPEG-4, MPEG-2, H.264, MJPEG formats and delivers them to an addressable mount point in MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MJPEG, Windows Media, QuickTime, or Real Media Realplayer formats depending upon the configuration. The module lets you easily distribute streaming video over the web using standard web browsing ports. Use of the module alleviates typical problems caused by firewalls or customer media-player choice.
