Cornet Technology, Inc. receives I-95/I-595 Video Monitoring Contract from the Florida Department of Transportations: March 10, 2004
March 10, 2004 -- Springfield, VA -- Cornet Technology, Inc. (CTI) announced today that it has received an award for $2.7 Million from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to design and build a video monitoring system along a 33 mile stretch of I-95 and I-595 in the Ft. Lauderdale area of Broward County. The purpose of the new system is to improve FDOT District Four traffic monitoring and incident management capabilities through the installation of video cameras and a vehicle detection system along the highway.
The Cornet Technology project team will be based at the company’s Ft. Lauderdale, FL field office and at its headquarters in Springfield, VA.
