Cornet Technology has been working with the FAA since the mid-1990¡¯s to ensure that critical information concerning aircraft routes reach airport traffic controllers. This information originates at one of two National Airspace Data Interchange Network (NADIN) centers and is passed to a regional Air Routing Traffic Control Center and ultimately to the airport.
The Remote Users Monitor System (RUMS), designed and manufactured by Cornet Technology enables NADIN network links to be monitored and tested remotely from either the NADIN or the ARTCC eliminating the need to dispatch a technician.
